About us
Who we are
We are an Australian couple from the sunny state of Queensland. At the end of 2016, we quit our teaching jobs and left for what was supposed to be a three-month Europe trip. We managed to stretch our budget to 9 months across 4 continents before returning home penniless but with our hearts filled with wanderlust. This marked the beginning of our new lives and the end of our time in Australia.
Our Mission
We are big believers in slow travel, and having the time to experience new cultures in a budget-friendly way. Our goal is to share our travel advice with other aspiring nomads and globetrotters.
We have always been advocates of motorcycle travel. To us, motorcycling gives travellers the opportunity to truly see a country like a local. We want to encourage others to enjoy the thrill of motorcycling when travelling abroad.
Extraordinary Experiences
Since 2018, we have lived and taught in Banff, Montreal, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Ho Chi Minh City and Chiang Mai.
In June 2023, we decided to embark on a new adventure; full-time travelling. Meg works as a curriculum developer and Kolby works as a social media manager.
